Supermarkets seems very proud of their carbon footprint. Eggs from the USA. Tinned tomatoes from the UK. Bacon from Denmark. Salmon from Norway. Yoghurt from Canada. And everything else from Australia and New Zealand. Don’t they produce any food here?

The Octopus card is brilliant– adding money to it takes a second and you pay for all transport and in most shops with it. Just hold it to the scanner and money goes on or comes off in a second. It’s like Oyster +1.
20 mins on the MTR (metro), 20 mins on the bus and you’re at a beach. Shek O: A lovely one. Great, cheap Thai food for dinner too.
