As many of you know, I have recently moved to Hong Kong, so here are the first few blogs of random thoughts...
It takes 20 minutes to get out of the city and up to the Peak and surrounded by tropical vegetation.
Hong Kong scaffolding is made of bamboo. How cool is that?
Notice in the entrance of apartment block: "No burning of incense or joss sticks in the lobby."
Everything is clean. There’s absolutely no graffiti anywhere.
Watch dial broke while changing the time, but as long as I remember it's now 5 hours 27 minutes slow, I'll be fine.
Someone sneezed three times on the MTR (metro) this morning and everyone near him got out tissues and covered their nose and mouth. Except me.
Watch dial fixed - we’re 6 hours ahead of Spain and 7 ahead of the UK.
The flat we’ve found is on the 49th floor! With views of… lots of other tower blocks, the sea, passing ferries, a bit of an island and the Peak.
Seen on a tee-shirt: "Levi's jeans are icon that screams dividanlity."
The trams are slow, hot and sweaty, but a great way to trundle through the city.
The first meal I cooked in the flat - a meeting of east and west - Noodle Bolognese, will be known as Nood-Bol from now on.
Saw a bus crammed full of people - destination: Pak Tin. Really!
